A group of people taking a snap at the Ashoka pillar. Photo: LB Thapa By LBTHAPA , in Lumbini (This article was originally published in The Rising Nepal) My long cherished desire to visit Lumbini and to see the exact birth spot of Lord Buddha was finally fulfilled during Tihar holidays. Along with my visit, I did also intend to write an extended article about the current situation of Lumbini and the people around there. Kanchhi was warned for not meeting the boy forever. Kanchhi nodded in affirmation only to keep her parents in darkness. Kanchhi was meeting Ramesh regularly. The only word she would utter w

Unfortunately, in recent years the unemployment rate has soared tremendously.   The demand for skilled manpower and other resources is always limited. In a situation like this, creating more employments has become extremely difficult and challenging. Increasing poverty and unemployment have become an inherent qualities of the Nepalese economy.   The government’s apathy to create more job opportunity for young people has only made things go bad to worse. No economic development can be imagined without proper growth of infrastructures of various development sectors.   Moreov
