The major Nepali leaders have expressed commitment to address India’s interests in Nepal, including not signing a special deal with China By PR PRADHAN Reports state that the government has submitted a political roadmap to Delhi after a consent from the leaders of three major parties – NC, UML and UCPNM – to end the present blockade. That roadmap includes the amendment of the constitution by making it favourable for India for micro-management in Nepali political and administrative affairs. According to that roadmap, proportional and inclusive representative of the Madheshi (those migrated Indian citizens to Nepal) will be secured in all the government organs; electoral constituencies will be managed on the basis of population and on the issue of citizenship to the migrated people, it has been decided to resolve the problem amicably through talks with the leaders of the Madheshi Front in agitation.
