MIRACLE INSTITUTE: Climbing the ladder of success

MIRACLE INSTITUTE
Climbing the ladder of success
By LB Thapa
At a time when Nepali education has come to a crossroads, more and more students and their parents look worried about the future of their wards. They want to ensure academic and professional success for their children. When the country’s economy has been taking a nosedive, many youths have lost their hopes at home and started finding greener pastures abroad.

Under such circumstances, many education consultancies have come into existence across the country. These education consultancies are important as liaison agents between foreign academic institutions and students.

Over the years, several educational consultancies have been established in Pokhara as well. But among them, Miracle Institute has come out shining for its outstanding services. Gaining popularity is one thing, but winning the trust of parents and students adds aesthetic value to an institution. And this value helps the institution stay floating without any fear of sinking.

Speaking with Kularaj Baral, managing director of Miracle Institute, he said, “Ever since the inception of Miracle Institute in 2009, the institute has been working hard to execute its professional responsibilities to the best of its capacity. We believe in professionalism, hard work, and selfless service. Currently, the institute has developed partnerships with more than 200 prominent institutions worldwide. Some of them are in the US, and they are Youngstown State University, Webster University, Southeast Missouri State University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Augustana College, State University of New York (SUNY) Oswego, and Saginaw Valley State University.”

Kularaj Baral is a certified agent by ICEF, and he holds many other certificates and licenses required by any qualified educational agent. In brief, Mr. Baral is a British Council Trained Counselor Agent and a member of NAFSA.

“Bearing the positions of managing director and educational agent demands constant hard work. One needs to keep abreast of the fluid educational rules and regulations of foreign colleges and universities. To keep oneself learning about those developments is easier said than done. Not only foreign colleges and universities, but even their governments keep on amending rules that directly affect our jobs as education agents.”

In the last 15 years, Miracle Institute has come of age, and the institution has learned everything important through trial and error. “I follow work ethics and strongly believe in learning. I don’t think there is any training left that I have not done successfully. I keep myself up-to-date so that I can work with my professional team to assist our students in choosing the right courses, dignified colleges, and renowned universities. Today, enough numbers of students and their parents come to receive our professional services. This indicates their trust in our services,” said Mr. Baral.

Miracle Institute has been continuously updating itself to deal with students and parents. This is seen not only in words but also in action. Among others, adequate infrastructure is most imperative, and without it, no professional success can be achieved. This has been proven true in the case of the Miracle Institute.

“We regularly invest to build necessary infrastructure that is useful for our students. We have an up-to-date library, enough study materials, and competent teaching staff. We are quite professional in our way of working. We deal with colleges and universities in the USA, Australia, Canada, and the UK. We have separate departments to deal with the students who aspire to higher studies in different countries. Proper guidance and strong documents help students get study visas. In addition, we also run an “Interview Class” for the students who want to apply for the USA,” said Rabi Bhandari, yet another managing director of Miracle Institute.

Certain facts are associated with Miracle Institute, and these facts are the testimony of professionalism and excellence. On average, over 600 students enroll in the test preparation classes for IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT every year.

The institute won the Top IELTS Performing Partner’s award from the British Council Nepal in 2022 and 2023. By no means is this a huge achievement for any educational consultancy.

The institute has successfully managed to get over 2,000 study visas for the students. Only in 2023 did the institute help get 250 study visas for different countries. According to the record, most of the students at Miracle Institute went to the US for higher studies.
