Ramesh is a young boy who studies in grade 10 in Pokhara. He is currently preparing for his final examination. He is staying in school hostel, because it is compulsory for grade 10 students and he was not happy.

Ramesh always missed his parents.  He wished as if everyday would be Saturday so that he could meet his parents.

Since morning, Ramesh is very happy, because it's a Saturday. All students were busy playing games but he was waiting for his parents.

After spending about five hours, he returned to his room.. but they did not turn up. He was very sad and angry with them.

Once again, after a week, Ramesh was waiting for his parents. How could he not be on tears when seeing other parents meeting with their children? He again went to his room with sank heart without eating anything.

However, Ramesh was lucky to have a very good friend in hostel, who could understand him well. He celebrated many festivals with them but he still couldn't stop missing his parents.

Ramesh continued missing the smell of food and kissing of her mother on his forehead---oh, yes and warm hug of his father. He started accepting the situation and focused his studies.

Ramesh's  10th grade exam was over and happy Ramesh was looking for his dad , Oh my gosh : he ran and quickly hugged him.  After they reached home; Ramesh started searching his mom and asked his dad, ' where is she?' , his father didn't reply but later he had to reveal the fact.

It has been three months since his parents divorced. First reaction was that Ramesh could not believe. He thought dad might be joking with him. However, it was not like that. They had really divorced. Now, he was in tears and his heart was shattered into thousand pieces.

As the days passes by, he didn't stop wondering if his parents patch up and start living together.

After about five months, his father got married. Ramesh was not happy about that but he had to hide his feelings.

After a few years of marriage, Ramesh’s father became the father of a baby boy.
Ramesh loved the baby without any prejudice, but Ramesh father and stepmother did not think so. Slowly Ramesh’s father and stepmother neglected Ramesh completely.  Though Ramesh had a family, he felt lonely and rejected.

He expressed his agony and pain with his best friends. His friends always encouraged him to be bold enough to face the challenges of life.

Ramesh would always spend his time in this room thinking of the old days. He was far away from being happy. His dream was to see his mother and father together but it was not possible. He understood that his father has a new family and his mother does not care about him.

Time started passing quickly ... many months passed. One day, Ramesh was called by his mom. He was so happy because his mom wanted to meet him. He was informed to meet her in sunrise restaurant at 9 o'clock coming day.

Next day, It was 9 o'clock in the morning; he was ready to meet his mother. In fact, his happiness knew no bound. When he went to the restaurant, he saw his mom across the road. He rushed to cross the road and suddenly, he was hit by a truck. He was taken to the hospital without delaying and his dad was informed about the accident.

Doctor Santosh told his parents Ramesh condition is extremely critical. It was a tensed moment for both of them.  They rushed to meet him and cried a lot in front of Remesh. Ramesh was struggling to speak but he could utter a few words only. With much effort Ramesh just managed to say “I was alone in the crowd” and the next moment he passed away.

His parents felt a deep sense of remorse and guilt. They misunderstood their son, now they wanted to shower all love upon him but Ramesh was no more…He was truly alone in the crowd of people.
